School of Urban Construction
The College of City Construction, established in July 2003 runs directly under the management of Jiangxi Normal University. The College of City Construction has a long history and can be traced back to the Department of Civil Engineering of National Chung Cheng University which was founded in 1940 and the Department of Civil Engineering of Nanchang University which was founded in 1949. The predecessor of the Discipline of Project Management is the Discipline of Real Estate Management which was founded in 1993 by the Department of Geography. The predecessor of the Discipline of Urban and Rural Planning is the Discipline of Urban and Regional Planning which was founded in 1995 by the Department of Geography.
